In this course, Senior Trend Hunter Account Executive Blaine Aberdeen will introduce you to the Modern Foodie and the Megatrends impacting their lives. Food is something that all of us have in common. It’s something deeply connected to tradition, nostalgia, and culture, but the way consumers are thinking about food today is very different. As a global community, the world has become increasingly connected through the internet and social media, and because of this, more interesting, Instagram-worthy food is being demanded. The virality of content is possible in ways that were never previously possible and today, almost anyone can be a foodie.

Throughout this course, we will be exploring the Modern Foodie through the lens of Trend Hunter's Megatrends; Prosumerism, Experience, and Authenticity.
